Clinical Audit Awareness Week (CAAW) 2022 update

Following the announcement of the return of Clinical Audit Awareness Week (13-17 June), we have been working with N-QI-CAN to prepare our plans to celebrate the benefits and impact of clinical audit and quality improvement work in healthcare. Here’s our latest update with some key dates for your diaries (highlighted):

Information event: We’re holding a special information event on Thursday 24 March from 12.30-1pm via MS Teams for healthcare colleagues to learn more about our planned celebrations. HQIP’s Medical Director Danny Keenan will be talking about all things CAAW, including the Clinical Audit Heroes Awards. He will be sharing details of the criteria for each of the five categories and how to apply.

Save the date: Nominations for the Clinical Audit Heroes Awards will open on Thursday 31 March and close on Friday 6 May.

Toolkit: The #CAAW22 toolkit is now available on our website. There is a range of resources available to download, including social media graphics, posters and thank you cards, to support CAAW22 activities in your organisations. You’re free to adapt these materials for your organisation or team, but please do not remove the HQIP or
N-QI-CAN branding.
