HQIP backs CASC Junior Doctors QI Awards 2016
Published: 17 Aug 2016
HQIP is pleased to once again support the Clinical Audit Support Centre’s annual Junior Doctor QI awards and conference.
Taking place at Leicester’s Devonshire Place on 30 November 2016, the full-day event will see seminar sessions and discussions chaired by HQIP medical director Professor Danny Keenan and culminates in the poster-competition-based awards.
“This is a great event and I would urge as many doctors as possible to enter,” Professor Keenan commented. “Good involvement in audit and QI are crucial, not just for revalidation and review, but as part of general learning and good practice.”
Two awards are given, one for best practice junior doctor involvement in clinical audit and the second for involvement in QI. To submit entries, junior doctors simply have to read the competition instructions and enter their abstract using the template document that CASC have created. Entrants have until the end of August 2016 to submit their entries to via [email protected]. Full competition rules and guidelines for submission are available via the clinical audit support website.
Entries will be reviewed and short-listed in September with finalists invited to attend and display their projects as posters at the annual Finals Day on 30 November.
