Case Study – National Lung Cancer Audit
The National Lung Cancer Audit was one of the excellent audit programmes nominated for the Richard Driscoll Memorial award.
The inaugural Richard Driscoll Memorial Award took place this year in honour of HQIP’s former Chair of Trustees, a passionate life-long ambassador for patient care, who sadly passed away in 2017. The award recognizes HQIP commissioned clinical audits and reviews on the basis of their robust and sustained patient involvement.
The NCLA’s case study demonstrates working with patients to better communicate with patients, building and improving from the learning and taking the first step in building capability of patients.
