Guide for quality assurance and governance of NCAPOP algorithms and analytical models

The intention of this guide is to give NCAPOP providers a starting point from which to assess their own quality assurance (QA) and governance processes in relation to algorithms and analytical models that have an impact on patient care. However, the guide is provided publicly as there may be others outside of NCAPOP who could benefit.

The title of the guide refers to ‘algorithms and analytical models’, but the principles within this guide will likely apply to any type of analytical/statistical/coding work which has the potential to have a direct or indirect impact on patient care.
