HQIP Annual Review 2016-17

2016/17 was an eventful year for HQIP. We published 51 audit reports and nine new QI resources contributing to improvements in care for more than 30 health conditions, including breast cancer, diabetes, stroke, maternity care and dementia to name just a few.

The HQIP Annual Review further demonstrates our positive impact during this period and showcases our work within the framework of six operational objectives:

  • Commissioning and supporting national and local quality improvement programmes
  • Supporting healthcare professionals to review and improve practice
  • Keeping patients and carers at the heart of our work
  • Informing and influencing policy by effectively communicating our work
  • Using robust data to improve quality of care
  • Supporting staff in a well-run organisation
