The Myocardial Ischaemia National Audit Project (MINAP) is a domain within the National Cardiac Audit Programme (NCAP) that contains information about the care provided to patients who are admitted to hospital with an acute coronary syndrome (heart attack).

This report analysis patients with heart attacks who were admitted to hospital during the period between April 2017 and March 2018. It details findings in patient characteristics for those who have a heart attack, management of those who experience ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), and secondary prevention.
