Listening to marginalised voices in maternity care
HQIP, funded by NHS England, asked ‘what matters to users of maternity services?’ with a focus on hearing from communities who are often seldom heard.
We have produced a presentation that summarises the activity and learning from this six-month project, which ran from September 2023 – February 2024.
Highlighted in the slides are:
- the steps we took to identify the communities we hoped to engage with
- the focus groups we were able to facilitate
- what was important to consider, and
- the lessons learned.
